Thanks to the generosity of the RJS Foundation, Shepherd Community Academy students had the opportunity to meet two miniature horses from AGAPE Therapeutic Riding. Students were able to pet, brush, and walk the horses. An added highlight was watching the horses do tricks. As the students engaged with the horses they learned important lessons about self-regulation.
